Krystal,
A wonderful second installment to this series。 Guys this book was over 500 pages and it still felt too short。 I need to know what happens。 Auryn Hadley's books define book hangover。 You dont just move on。 They stick with you。 I love the relationships and how they are all different。 The characters all have flaws and it makes them more loveable。 The world building by Hadley is still the best I have encountered。 I ordered the paperback as soon as I finished reading the ebook。 A wonderful second installment to this series。 Guys this book was over 500 pages and it still felt too short。 I need to know what happens。 Auryn Hadley's books define book hangover。 You dont just move on。 They stick with you。 I love the relationships and how they are all different。 The characters all have flaws and it makes them more loveable。 The world building by Hadley is still the best I have encountered。 I ordered the paperback as soon as I finished reading the ebook。 。。。more

Kristin,
5 stars all dayI just cannot say enough good things about this book。 Nari finally finds her path amongst the paths。 The men in this book are amazing and I can’t even pick a favorite。 The amount of insight, world building and mythology is astounding。 Auryn has a true gift and her light shines through everything she does。 It’s a beautiful thing to witness。 I wanted to cry tears of happiness so many times, I was so moved。 This one isn’t one you can afford to miss。
Tara Zormier,
PerfectI love this series! Auryn has another epic series on her hands。 I haven’t read anything of hers that I haven’t loved!
Chrissy,
Learning What The Path IsThis is the second book, of what is shaping up to be another amazing series by Auryn Hadley。 You need to read the first book to enjoy this book, if you haven’t read it yet, you really should because it’s amazing。This book is about the Priestess and Priests of Zeal becoming Initiates。 They are now on to their secondary education where they learn about the Paths they’ve been placed upon by Zeal。 As Nariana has been gifted the Path of Temptation, or all five Paths, she has Learning What The Path IsThis is the second book, of what is shaping up to be another amazing series by Auryn Hadley。 You need to read the first book to enjoy this book, if you haven’t read it yet, you really should because it’s amazing。This book is about the Priestess and Priests of Zeal becoming Initiates。 They are now on to their secondary education where they learn about the Paths they’ve been placed upon by Zeal。 As Nariana has been gifted the Path of Temptation, or all five Paths, she has to find her own Path to navigate and Zeal isn’t helping her choose how to walk it。 She asked for free will, so he gave it to her as his Chosen。One of the things I really like about this series is that it’s not just about Nariana, it’s about all of those Zeal has touched and can see him。 There are multiple points of view in this book and I enjoyed all of them。 Each of the characters has importance to this story。 They all see things slightly differently and support each other in different ways。 The story is a web with strands connecting each person to each other, though that metaphor is far too static for the journey they must all take together。In this book we watch as these young people learn about sexuality and other temptations。 They start to learn who they really are and what their desires are like。 They have formal lessons, but learn as much from each other as they do their teachers。 They also have the help of advice from their mentors and, of course, their god。 They make new friends and take new lovers。 They gain allies for themselves and for Zeal。 They use friendship and kindness as well as lust to tempt。I love the winding path this story is taking。 This author always allows space for her characters to breathe and think。 This is actually quite a contemplative book about sexuality and power。 There is plenty of explicitly sexy scenes that will leave you squirming, but there is also plenty of thought provoking discussions about accepting yourself and your desires。 It also makes you think about the nature of power and how easy or hard it is to grab onto and when you have it what you choose to do with it。This contrast between scenes hot enough to make you blush and cerebral scenes that make your mind whirl is how the author keeps you slightly off kilter, wondering what is coming next and driving you to keep turning the pages to find out。 Thrown into that interesting blender of physicality and intellect is the character development, as we watch these young people grow up。 We also watch their mentors, people in their late 30s and 40s mature and start to move towards new stages in their lives。 The mentors know a lot about their subjects, and are more than capable of guiding their students, but they have more to learn about life and have Zeal to guide them。I know this book will be like all other Auryn Hadley books and every time I read it I will find something new and interesting that I missed before。 It’s one of the reasons I don’t mind reading the books as they come out。 I re-read all the previous books each time there is a release and get something new each time。 It’s also why I don’t mind buying the books even though they are in Kindle Unlimited。 I know I will read them time and time again, which for me is the mark of a 5 ⭐️ book, and I want to make sure they are always in my library。July feels a long way off, to wait for the next book, but as Zeal might tell you, anticipation makes things sweeter。 。。。more

Roommatesrawesome,
Love love love! Honestly can’t tell if I’m more excited or just can’t take that it’s a 5 book series, on one hand I never want to story to end and the other hand the wait between releases just may kill me。 Absolutely loved the second book and watching all the characters grow and develop more。 I adore how they all support each other in the faces of new challenges。
Nicole Hale,
Need more Wow I am so I love with these characters and storyline I cannot get enough! I cannot wait for book 3。

As a note to anyone reading through the comments, for the time I pick up any of Auryns work til the time I put it down, I am not longer on earth as I know it but on whatever miraculous world Auryn has crafted with her words。 She is able to build such complex worlds and characters without making the reader work for the understanding。 She has been my go-to author for years to escape life and dive into a fantasy world。 This series, while unfinished, is quickly becoming one of my favorite series ever of hers (or just in general) and I highly recommend anyone giving it a try! Just make sure you don’t have to work in the morning。。。 what is sleep even for anymore 😂 。。。more

Absolutely brilliant!I am just loving this world and these characters。This has to be my favorite harem - all the guys are so different but I cannot pick a favorite as they all bring something different and I just love them all。I absolutely recommend reading this book ASAP, as you will *want* to read again before each release as it’s that incredible。
Dyantha Bogerd,
Its no secret that I am a huge Auryn fan , and that The Paths We Lay blew my away again。 It was again a perfectly written story that had me mesmerized from the first page till the end。 I suck at writing reviews , expecially without spoilers so bare with me please。。。 The Path We Take , it continues where book 1 left off with Nari and her guys , Tarin, Wrayte and Eladehl taking classes for Initiate Schooling。 Nari still is very unsure of what it means to walk the Path of Temptation, it also doesn' Its no secret that I am a huge Auryn fan , and that The Paths We Lay blew my away again。 It was again a perfectly written story that had me mesmerized from the first page till the end。 I suck at writing reviews , expecially without spoilers so bare with me please。。。 The Path We Take , it continues where book 1 left off with Nari and her guys , Tarin, Wrayte and Eladehl taking classes for Initiate Schooling。 Nari still is very unsure of what it means to walk the Path of Temptation, it also doesn't help some people want to see her fail because she is changes things up。 But we will see Nari grow , we will see her become confident in who she is。 Zeal makes a lot of appearances ! We also get to know him a little more。 Like I said I suck at writing reviews so this is basically the end because I don't want to ruin things , but there is this scene that actually made my heart soar。 It's a talk between Jamik and Nari and I had this big smile on my face。 Also Wraythe was super cute in this book , he had so many scenes where I was like ahhhh ( I want a Wraythe for my own) That said (apparently not quite finished), in this book we meet some members of the Ranndor family who are Talin's family and also Ela is finding out his own way into the Path of the Body , his kinks , his likes , his limits , and while I wasn't that surprised to learn about it , I do wonder how it will affect the others , not in terms of not accepting but , Ela and Nari will or are expected to perform together and I am really wondering how that will play out between them , or them and their Patrons if they want the two of them。 ( this doesn't make a sense to anyone reading this who hasn't read the book yet 😅)All in all there isn't a bad word I can say about this book , Auryn did it again and I can't wait for July to come for book 3。 I will probably re read this book a time or two, it was that good。 。。。more
